Make a study plan that is anywhere from 5-8 weeks. Studying to become board certified as a Nurse Practioner is a major. It is important to do practice tests in order to know where you stand in your studies. depending on how you set up your study plan it is vital to know what you are working with. studying can be daunting if you do not know what topics you are studying. get a course and find all the topics on the exam.  This may be longer or shorter depending on how much time you have available.

Things to consider are how long you need.

what is your study style? what resources are you using and when do they expire? Childcare and work schedules are vital to know and balance. I was able to study between naps and after bedtimes. Meal prepping and working with my spouse were key to my studying schedule, especially with a toddler and two puppies running around. Ultimately, it is up to you and how you schedule your time.

Find the right study tools

Things to consider while preparing for boards are what study resources you are going to use such as prep courses or books. There are many different resources out there and you do not have to spend thousands of dollars. One resource that I used continuously was my very own study guide. I rewrote this study guide multiple times until I nearly memorized every single word of it.

Do not wait too long after graduation or after taking a course buckle down and take that Exam and pass! You Got This!
